"The Sunday Game in Lahore"
The game of Halwa Puri is something very beloved to South Asian communities: Sunday breakfast is serious business in my city, Lahore, Pakistan. Making it isn't a trick anyone can master, it's an extreme sport, almost like basketball. This 8-step recipe fusion poster takes a comic approach to sharing visual culture across different communities, encouraging positive cultural exchange and fostering appreciation for diverse traditions. Through this work, I aim to promote a deeper understanding of the rich culinary heritage of South Asia while celebrating the joy of cultural connection.
